11/20/2007 - OASFAA needs to decide whether to continue offering two conferences per year or change to just one conference per year.  Please vote by choosing one of the following options:

___ Continue having two conferences until it is no longer economically feasible to do so.

___ Immediately change to one conference per year in the Spring only (alternating between Oklahoma City and Tulsa)*.

___ Have the Fall 2008 conference at the Tulsa Renaissance and the Spring 2009 conference in Oklahoma City at the Reed Center (since the contracts are already in place), but after 2008-2009, change to one conference per year in the Spring only (alternating between Oklahoma City and Tulsa).*

The Oklahoma Association of Student Financial Aid Advisors (OASFAA) offers an electronic mailing list for Oklahoma financial aid personnel. The electronic mailing list will allow OASFAA members to communicate with one another with greater ease and speed than conventional methods.

How to Subscribe
The electronic mailing list is easy to use. The mailing list is called OASFAA. You may subscribe via the internet by visiting:

You may also contact OGSLP's Client Relations Department and they will gladly subscribe you to the OASFAA listserv on your behalf.

How the Mailing List Works
If you send a message to OASFAA, that message will be routed to everyone subscribed to the mailing list. With the mailing list, you only have to send a message to one address for it to be sent to multiple recipients. However, be careful that you only send to the mailing list what you want distributed to all the subscribers. If you want to send a message to one individual, be sure you address the message specifically to that person, not the entire mailing list. You will receive information instructing you how to post messages to the listserv once you have subscribed to OASFAA.
