OASFAA has contributed to many local charities over the years, collecting food, clothing, toys and funds for agencies that care for the needy in our communities.   In 2003, OASFAA selected the Edmond-based organization Citizens Caring for Children as our permanent service project. 

The mission of Citizens Caring for Children is simple: “breaking the cycle of abuse and neglect for Oklahoma foster children by addressing their material, emotional, intellectual and spiritual needs…..because every child deserves the chance for a better life. “  

Before each conference, OASFAA works with Citizens Caring for Children to identify a particular need the organization may have (clothing, books, cash, etc.).  OASFAA members are encouraged to contribute to this need at each conference and a donation is made to the organization after each conference.
